instructional strategies and curriculum materials
Students are like snowflakes--no two are ever exactly like. Each snowflake has its own distinctive shape and intricacies. Similarly, students have their own learning styles, needs, and preferences. Effective educators get to know their students as individuals, and take their unique backgrounds and needs into consideration when deciding on best practices. It is crucial to integrate a wide variety of settings (i.e. whole-group, small group, individual, outdoors), strategies, supports (i.e. paraprofessionals, tutors, volunteers, specialists) and materials into instruction to provide students motivating and authentic learning experiences.
